The Idaho Hand Institute has been providing excellence in treating upper extremity conditions for patients in the Pocatello, Idaho area since 2013. Like most medical practices they faced the same question, “which EHR system would best serve our unique needs and keep up with regulatory requirements?”

Idaho Hand Institute carefully researched eight different companies, all claiming to have Orthopaedic-specific content and workflows, finally selecting something other than Exscribe. However, after finding themselves underwhelmed with their selection, they attempted one, then a second disappointing transition to other PM/EHR companies, discovering that each of the systems were not all that they claimed to be. It was then that they decided to give Exscribe a chance. This time discovering that Exscribe really is a system designed for Orthopaedics.
