New Featured Programs to Debut at Exscribe User Group Meeting
Bethlehem, PA, December 13, 2018 – Exscribe Inc. will conduct new featured programs at its Annual User Group Meeting in Nashville, TN at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. The meeting will be held January 30 – February 2, 2019 and will include sessions on the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) reporting and compliance, fulfilling high client demand for resources in this area since the inception of the Quality Payment Program (QPP).
On October 16, 2016, the Centers for Medicare Services (CMS) released the final rule for the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA), a payment system for Medicare physician fees that established the Quality Payment Program. The QPP finalized the payment and healthcare quality reforms for those physicians seeking reimbursement for services through Medicare.
Participation in the QPP is mandatory for any practice that accepts Medicare, with very rare exceptions. There are two tracks to choose from when participating to earn payments based on practice outcome criteria; the MIPS track and the Advanced Alternative Payment Methods (APMs).
Four sessions will be offered throughout the meeting focusing on the MIPS track. Conducted by Jessica Holten, Director of Technical Operations at Exscribe, the sessions will demonstrate how to ensure EHR systems are set up correctly to comply with MIPS regulations. From pulling a report to data collection and final submission, these sessions will simplify key concepts and outline exactly how Exscribe can facilitate compliance from beginning to end for its users, positioning clients to obtain their best possible payment adjustment.
